Morning Prayer Thursday April 8th 2021

Ann leads our thought provoking Morning Prayer – she considers where Christ shared meals with friends and strangers, drawing parallels with where we take Communion. Ann describes how we have grown used to attending church services broadcast from people’s kitchen tables, including our Rectors’ Liz – where Communion has been led from our homes since the start of Covid-19 lockdowns in our country. Ann asks Jesus Christ to be a guest in our homes and a host at our tables, or wherever we share meals with one another today. Ann also prays for all gardeners planting seeds despite the chill winds this morning – we follow their example and try always to travel in hope.
