Morning Prayer Wednesday January 19th 2022

Revd. Bennett leads both Morning and Evening Prayer this week. Today’s Epiphany Season, Morning Prayer – Bennett considers a passage from Matthew, chapter 24, verse 29 to the end. In this scripture Jesus talks to his disciples – describing how his return to earth will be marked, reminding us how we should be ever-alert for his return; “Immediately after the suffering of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken.”
