Naomi leads Morning and Evening prayer this week. Morning Prayer – Naomi considers a passage from Mark chapter 15 verse 42 to the end. This scripture recounts Joseph of Arimithea’s courage when asking Pilate for Jesus’ body, to be able to place this in the tomb that was to have been his own; “Then Joseph bought a linen cloth, and taking down the body, wrapped it in the linen cloth, and laid it in a tomb that had been hewn out of the rock. He then rolled a stone against the door of the tomb. Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Jesus saw where the body was laid.”
