Judith leads our Evening Prayer and considers the night ahead. She prays for God to watch over us as we rest, and for our Lord to be revealed to us as visions of glorious truth as we dream. Judith asks for our sleep to be deep and soft, so that our work may be refreshed and effective. She prays for the sick and for those who care for them, asking Christ to surround the frightened with tenderness, to give strength to those in pain, and hope and patience to all who are ill.
