Worship and Activities during week commencing 21 September

Throughout this week, you are invited to join us for worship and other social activities.

Sunday 21 September, 10.00am – Parish Eucharist for Harvest Festival
The Parish Eucharist takes place at St Luke’s and St Thomas’ Churches. We will be celebrating Harvest Festival and invite you to bring non-perishable foods to share with Greenwich Foodbank.

The service from St Luke’s will be broadcast live to people at home. You can find the service online by following this link to YouTube.

Sunday 21 September, 11.15am – Bible Study
After the Eucharist, there will be a Bible Study on Zoom. Download these details to join in.

Tuesday 23 September – Tuesday Group
The Tuesday Group at St Thomas’ Church meets from 10.00am. It is a time when you can meet with friends and make new friends. Some people choose to relax and have a chat over a cuppa. Others prefer to join in with some gardening or DIY tasks. You can also stay for lunch. However you choose to spend the time, you can be guaranteed of a warm welcome.

Tuesday 23 September, 1.00pm – Tuesday Social
Fancy some company, a slice of cake, and something to do?

The Tuesday Social is a weekly, warm, welcoming space to relax, chat, and enjoy an afternoon with your neighbours. Whether you’re retired, working from home, caring for little ones, or just fancy some friendly faces and a change of scene, you’re very welcome. There’s no agenda – do a spot of gardening, try a board game, bring your knitting, or simply sit and enjoy the company. Hosted by CCRA and St Richard’s Church on Tuesday’s, 1-3pm

Tuesday 23 September, 6.00pm – Evening Prayer
We meet in the beautiful chapel at St Richard’s Church Centre for a service of Evening Prayer at 6.00pm. The entrance to the chapel is in Sundorne Road.

Thursday 25 September, 10.00am – Coffee Morning
Join us from 10.00am at St Luke’s for a chance to catch up with friends and make new friends too. As well as having a chat, this is a great opportunity to look around our historic church.

Thursday 25 September, 12 noon – Holy Communion
Following the Coffee Morning, a simple midweek service of Holy Communion takes place at St Luke’s. Everyone is welcome.

There is no sermon, but there is music for reflection and prayers are said for the church, world, community and those in need. This oasis in the middle of the week may be just what you need.
