Our administrator, Sarah Foord-Divers, and her daughter Emma, undertook a challenge to raise money for Dementia UK on Saturday 23 August. The determined duo walked 25km, starting and finishing at Woolwich Barracks, as part of Action Challenge’s Summer 2025 event. The walk took them through the Woolwich foot tunnel, around Docklands and the Isle of Dogs, through the Greenwich foot tunnel, along the south of the Thames, past the o2, Thames Barrier, and finally through our local parks, Maryon and Maryon Wilson, and back to Barrack Field.
Sarah’s dad, Geoff, is sadly suffering from Dementia with Lewy Bodies, which motivated her to take part in the walk, to help those suffering from this cruel disease. She would be very grateful to receive donations to her Just Giving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/sarah-foord-divers-6?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL
