Ally W reminds us that in the Lord God we make our refuge, she prays that we may find wisdom in God’s presence, and set our hope not on uncertain riches, but on the love that holds us to the end. It is Easter time and Ally considers death and how we enter God’s house – where there shall be no darkness nor dazzling, but one equal light; no noise nor silence, but one equal music; no fears nor hopes, but one equal possession and no ends or beginnings, but one equal eternity in God’s love. Ally prays for us all this Easter season asking Christ our Comforter and Truth, who is with us in all places and fills all voids, our treasury of blessings and giver of life, that Christ will come and dwell with us and cleanse us from every stain and save our souls… tonight’s Evening Prayer.
