The Friends of St Luke’s and Meet the Collection are joining together on Sunday 6 March from 1.00pm to 4.30pm for an afternoon of learning about the history of Charlton and the Church.

Meet the Collection will invite you to view artefacts from the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s Museum Collection Archive & documents from St Luke’s archive.

Meet the Collection showcases everyday items that represent home and the ways that people have lived in the borough over time. Record your memories of Charlton and what it means to you, which may be featured in a Sound Installation at Charlton House children’s art activities Heritage Lottery Funded project increasing access to local history and heritage

The Friends of St Luke’s is a group of members of the church and the local community interested in preserving and investing in the Grade 2* listed building (awarded for its historical importance). The aim is to raise funds towards restoration and repair at St. Luke’s and to increase awareness of this remarkable building in our local community and far beyond.
