Our Rector leads this week’s Morning Prayer – we are still in Easter season and Revd. Liz considers Christ’s resurrection. She prays when darkness overwhelms us, that our risen Christ gives us faith in a new dawn beckoning us each day and that his life touches us, releasing us from doubt and fear. Liz prays for all who grieve and despair – that Jesus’ peace enfolds them and restores hope. Christ’s resurrection reminds us that death is a journey into the presence of God and Liz prays for us all, that when death threatens us Christ’s resurrection light will lead us.
