Our final Morning Prayer with Amabel who prays that we pay attention to the greening of this earth and this ground of wonder, that we are attentive to God who gives us this new day. Amabel thanks the Lord for the precious gift of our bodies, whatever their strengths or limitations. She asks that we respect and care for everyone’s physical well being – that the health and dignity of every person is our responsibility and keeps us in right-relationship with God. Amabel prays that our horizons open beyond us, to self-giving we have not considered yet, and that we may truly be at one with God.
