Throughout this week, you are invited to join us for worship and other social activities.
Sunday 24 September, 10.00am – Parish Eucharist for Harvest
This Sunday is our Harvest Festival celebration. We’ll be thanking God for the many blessings we are given, and praying for a world where everyone has enough to eat.
During our services, we will be collecting items for the Greenwich Foodbank. Please, if you are able, come to church with items to share. We are looking for packet or tinned foods, bottled or carton drinks and toiletries, especially sanitary products. Let’s make this a bumper harvest at this time of hardship for so many.
Our Harvest services will take place at St Thomas’ and St Luke’s Churches at 10.00am. The service from St Thomas’ will be livestreamed for people joining from home.
Whether you prefer to be in church or joining the livestream from home, we look forward to worshipping together.
To join the service online you can use this link to YouTube. The service will also be live on Zoom where you can join online or listen via any telephone. Download full details for joining our online service

Tuesday 26 September – Tuesday Group
The Tuesday Group at St Thomas’ Church meets from 10.00am. It is a time when you can meet with friends and make new friends. Some people choose to relax and have a chat over a cuppa. Others prefer to join the group tending the beautiful Garden of Reflection or helping out with some maintenance. You can also stay for lunch. However you choose to spend the time, you can be guaranteed of a warm welcome.
Tuesday 26 September, 2.00-4.00pm – Community Café
We are launching a new community café at St Richard’s. It is more than just a pop-in place to have a cuppa. It is a place to meet up with old friends and make new ones, jointly hosted by St Richard’s and CCRA in a warm, cosy and friendly environment.
It is a place to indulge your interests in a convivial atmosphere. Come along and have a cuppa whilst doing some knitting, playing a board game or practicing a craft.
Board games provided but feel free to bring your own. Knitters can help in making things which go to new babies in the hospital and there are some DIY and maintenance things to do for people who prefer to be practical. Alternatively, you can just pop in for some cake and conversation.
Come along and meet some neighbours.
