St George’s Day – the patron saint of England. Ally recites Psalm 3 this Evening Prayer and prays to our heavenly Father to give us the courage to be like St George, to stand up for the truth and the glory of God, that we see in the face of Jesus Christ. She asks our Lord to give us the strength to overcome in our lives and in the world, all that is contrary to Christ’s rule of justice and love, for he is our resurrection, our hope and our life.
