Rob reminds us of God’s compassion in Psalm 147 and asks this Evening Prayer for God’s forgiveness, for the things we have done wrong, thought badly of, or omitted to do at all. Rob prays for a new start for us all and to live in God’s Way. He reminds us also of times when our faith is stretched to breaking point, as we witness natural disasters and so much suffering. We are reminded through prayer that it’s all too easy to blame God for the destruction we bring to our natural world, through our own fault and lack of understanding, so Rob prays for greater faith and insight for us tonight, as we pray for five individuals – Thy Kingdom Come.
