Psalm 42 this Morning Prayer – “As the deer longs for the water brooks, so longs my soul for you, O God”, our last prayer this week with Ali E, who has fortunately resisted singing this beautiful Psalm. She considers God’s love and grandeur at day break; “Because the Holy Ghost over the bent World broods with warm breast and with ah! bright wings.” Ali prays that we step lightly upon the earth and remember to look for the glory of God’s living Word and the dancing fire of the Spirit.
