Matilda leads both Morning and Evening Prayer this week. Today’s Christmas Morning Prayer – Matilda and her mother consider a passage from Matthew’s gospel, chapter 1, verses 18 to 25. This scripture tells of Jesus’ birth, the power of God’s love – the gift of a child; “‘Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel’,which means, ‘God is with us.’”
