Arek leads both Morning and Evening Prayer this week. Today’s Advent Morning Prayer – Arek considers a passage from Matthew’s gospel, chapter 18, verses 1 to 20. This scripture recounts Jesus’ answer to his disciples when they asked him who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven; “‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”
