Revd. Bennett leads both Morning and Evening Prayer this week. Today’s Epiphany Season, Morning Prayer – Bennett considers a passage from Matthew, chapter 25, verses 14 to 30. This scripture encourages us to consider our abilities – a gift from God. In the ‘Parable of the Talents’ we are invited to think about what we should do with those gifts, and how best we should use and invest out time and talent, whatever we are given, for God’s purposes; “For to all those who have, more will be given, and they will have an abundance; but from those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away.”
