Amabel greets our day and recites Psalms 17 and 19, reminding us that: “The heavens are telling the glory of God and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.” Amabel prays that we seek God’s countless forms of creation all around us, in the sun’s rising glory, on the face of friends and strangers, for God’s heart in the heart of this moment – that we may see God’s light in every light and be still and mindful. Amabel prays for our Lord to keep us from falling into sin, running into danger and that our life is well ordered and guided by God – our Morning Prayer.
