Revd. Bennett leads both Morning and Evening Prayer this week. Today’s Epiphany Season Morning Prayer – Bennett considers a passage from Matthew, chapter 24, verse 1 to 14. In this scripture Jesus warns the disciples that they will be put to death and hated because they follow Jesus; “When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age?’ ‘Beware that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, “I am the Messiah!” and they will lead many astray.”
