Jim, St Thomas’ Church Warden, leads both Morning and Evening Prayer this week. Today’s Morning Prayer – Jim considers a passage from Luke’s gospel, chapter 23 verses 1 to 12. This scripture describes Jesus’ interrogation under Pilate, and Jesus’ subsequent interrogation by Herod and return to Pilate once again; “The chief priests and the scribes stood by, vehemently accusing him. Even Herod with his soldiers treated him with contempt and mocked him; then he put an elegant robe on him, and sent him back to Pilate.”
