Amelia and Laura lead both Morning and Evening Prayer this week. Today’s Morning Prayer – Laura and Amelia consider a passage from Mark’s gospel, chapter 9, verses 2 to 30. This scripture considers Jesus’ transfiguration and the many events and sufferings before his crucifixion; “After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John, and led them up a high mountain apart, by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his clothes became dazzling white, such as no one on earth could bleach them.”
