We have been brought from the rest of last night to the joyous light of this day and to the guiding light of eternity. Morning Prayer with Bennett who recites Psalm 19 – contemplating the glory of God – he asks that the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts, be acceptable in God’s sight, so that we are enfolded in the brightness of God’s light. Revd Bennett asks for God’s forgiveness, so that we are brought back to the place where our journey as Christians began, when we said that we would follow
the Way that our Lord first trod, to the Cross where Christ will meet us.
