Rick celebrates St Patrick’s day, he prays for the people of Ireland and Patrick their apostle, asking that peace and reconciliation may flourish. Ricks asks that we may live as people who know God’s story of love, and have the vision of what could be possible, if we dare to live this story. Rick recites St Patrick’s prayer; “As I arise today may the strength of God pilot me… ” May Christ shield us as we join Rick’s steadfast, compassionate Morning Prayer – may God’s light break forth like the dawn and our Lord’s healing deliver us all.
