Jim, St Thomas’ Church Warden, leads both Morning and Evening Prayer this week. Today’s Morning Prayer – Jim considers a passage from Matthew’s gospel, chapter 7 verses 1 to 12. This scripture reminds us that God is our only judge and it is not for us to look for the faults in others alone; “‘Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgement you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck in your neighbour’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?’”
